Calm the mind 

In this busy world it is sometimes difficult to find the time and space in our lives for our mind to take a pause. Yoga will provide an opportunity and the tools you need to invite a little calm into your life.

Reduce the effects of stress and anxiety

A regular yoga practice provides the space to move away from all the chatter of the mind and bring us into our body. Yoga movements (asana) and breathing techniques are all useful tools to help maintain good mental health.

Rest is good for us

Life can often move us from one stressful situation to another, never allowing cortisol (our fight or flight hormone) to reduce.  This hormone can be responsible for poor sleep quality, raised blood pressure, headaches and even weight gain.
